My submissions for the February photo club contest. Topics: Shallow depth of field, self portrait, or Olympic shadows. I didn’t realize there was a contest until three days ago so I was limited to my macro shots from February.

I’m lucky that I’ve been posting pictures on my blog every single day because  I lost one of my memory cards which contained ~ 40% of February’s pictures (does this surprise anyone who knows me?!). The club is running a monthly contest and the members must take a picture during the month in order to submit something.

The flames submission is a bit of a joke because some of the execs are huge Canucks fan. I had to do it because I thought I was being pretty funny AND it completely meets the criteria! I wonder if they’ll  think it’s as humorous or if it will cost me a place in the running for best photo of the month haha..

There is always next month. Topics: technology, fast shutter speed, or Go Outside! Suggestions/ideas are welcome.

Some people go on shopping sprees, I go on printing sprees! Today I printed 8 pictures at the club and I’m almost certain I’m the one responsible for the low ink status..
