I’ve been feeling a bit sluggish lately because of all of the rain that we’ve been getting out here. For the longest time I couldn’t figure out what was bothering me but when I woke up to sun this morning everything about my mood changed. Amazing what a little sunshine can do for you..
I’ve been monitoring this shrub quite closely over the past few weeks. Throughout my runs I find my self pre-occupied thinking about which species is going to make an appearance first. Usually during a training session it’s best not to stop and smell the roses but I always have a quick glance. I had a gut feeling that this little guy would be ready to make an appearance the second the sun finally decided to come out and clearly it was ready.
I’m trying not to dominate my blog with macro shots of flowers/plants but I seem to gravitate towards these. Can you really blame me? This flower looks like it’s smiling in the sunshine..
